Fresh from the release of their critically acclaimed ‘The Underpass EP’,
Storyfold release new single, ‘Dynamo’ – 2 minutes and 53 seconds of
instant, summer indie pop. It’s the first official release from their brand new
album which releases this September. Produced by Ger McDonnell (U2, The
Cure, Kasabian) and engineered by Phil Magee (Kodaline), the band proudly
wear their pop sensibilities on their sleeve, whilst displaying a maturing in
sound that’s guaranteed to get crowds dancing.
The Underpass EP has a summery feel to it and features some of the best
indie pop that’s come out of Ireland in recent times. –
Storyfold formed in late ’09 and released their debut album ‘Rocket Science’
in 2011 – garnering a National radio hit with ‘Delphine Wakes’. The
independently-released album also cracked the Top 10 in the Irish charts. It
was described as ‘impressively timeless and effervescent’ (Hotpress), whilst

BBC Radio1 said:

I would say that’s Ben Folds Five meets Manic Street Preachers. They’ve
definitely got that crossover sound that’s edgy enough to be cool but

The band will play a multitude of live dates across the country including dates
at Electric Picnic, Le Cheile & the big one – their album launch night in The
Button Factory Dublin on September 26th! Storyfold have already built up an
awesome live rep, having played to over 40,000 people in Croke Park and
supported Feeder on tour. Give ‘Dynamo’ a spin, it releases on June 27th
