Leaders of Men – Alexander House EP

Leaders of Men: Alexander House EP
(Focus track – ‘At Ease’)

Release Date: August 15th 2014

LEADERS OF MENFormed in Tallaght, Dublin in 2011, Leaders of Men quickly gained a reputation around the city for a dynamic, goosebump-inducing live show and an ear for a serious song hook. Their first EP “The Debut Collection” cemented their standing, and the band soon signed publishing deals with Evolving Music (Ireland) and Big Life Music (UK).

Further success followed when the band’s track “Fear” generated airplay without the aid of a radio plugger or label. “Made To Be Brave” emerged as another success amongst the band’s loyal fan-base, trending on Twitter and generating over 5,000 views on the day of video release.

Their first single proper ‘For Want Of A Better Word’ was released independently in Ireland in February 2014 and made the Irish charts. The EP, ‘Alexander House’, is now getting a worldwide release on Drawing Board Recordings. It was recorded in Voltaire Studios with producer du jour, Cameron Blackwood (who has also produced releases from Darlia, George Ezra and London Grammar, among others).

Thrilling audiences with their sold out shows, Leaders of Men are regulars in venues across the length and breadth of Ireland. With attention-grabbing performances at festivals such as Dublin’s Longitude and Electric Picnic, Cork’s Indiependence (main stage) and the Trinity Ball, Leaders of Men have become synonymous with their captivating live show. They also play this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals.
