Tuesday 16th September    –  Dolans, Limerick
Wednesday 17th September – Cyprus Ave, Cork

Two of Ireland’s finest breaking acts Waterford’s “In The Willows” and Galway’s “Hawk” joint forces on a nationwide tour this September.

HAWK now London based have been enjoyed a lot of air time here in Ireland and in the UK they gained support from DJs such as Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music, they also play this years HWCH in Dublin. The band’s first EP of 2014 entered Top 10 on the Alternative iTunes Ireland album chart earlier this year and the band followed this up this summer with the Double A “Antidote//Hush”.  Showing how quickly the band’s music is gathering momentum.

Waterford’s IN THE WILLOWS were turning heads from the off, with their original contemporary take on alt folk.  Ahead of the band’s debut album, “Before Everybody Disappears” on September 12th, IN THE WILLOWS preceded this with two EP’s.  2013’s “Rowing Boats” and this summer’s “Vantage Point”.   Both EPs garnered worthy attention from tastemaker radio shows both national and regional.  The sextet from Waterford has a lot to say and while only together in the current line up since 2013, the band’s music is already getting deserved recognition.  The band enjoyed playing not one, but two shows at this years Electric Picnic on the much-lauded Body & Soul stage.  Their arrangements are truly beautiful and will move the hardest of hearts in all of the best ways.

Together IN THE WILLOWS & HAWK’s music marries, while from different genre spec, both blend in a way that they totally compliment, a treat for any real music lover.  Honestly!
