After a five year hiatus, Paddy Casey returned last year with his fourth album The Secret Life Of. It was recorded, produced and mixed at home in Paddy’s kitchen by Paddy and Pat Donne.
A winner of two consecutive Meteor Music Awards for Best Irish Male, Paddy also supported U2 on their Vertigo tour and has appeared on the hugely viewed David Letterman Show in the US. Paddy finished touring his third album Addicted To Company in mid-2009 and decided then that it was time to make an album on his own, without a label. He wanted to let the songs come naturally, but found that, almost immediately, they came along in droves. So he began recording them over the past next few years, and over the last year he chose the 11 tracks that make up the new album The Secret Life Of.
Nominated in the Best Medium Festival category at the Irish Festival Awards 2014, Bulmers Live at Leopardstown is set to deliver another fantastic line up this Summer. In addition to Paddy Casey on June 11, the line up also features The Hot Sprockets (June 18), Delorentos (June 25), Hermitage Green (July 9), The High Kings (July 16), Damien Dempsey (July 23) and The Stunning (August 6) with one more imminent announcement to complete the summer series.
Following seven years of attracting some of the biggest names of Irish and international talent, Bulmers Live at Leopardstown again delivers on its reputation for being a fantastic night out for individuals, groups and friends, with a huge variety of on-site entertainment and all for the amazing ticket price of only €15! Each Thursday night, the performances will be preceded by a top class card of horse racing, a wide selection of hospitality options from the Summer Feast to the premium Pavilion Party, with hospitality options to suit both large and small groups.
However, racing wouldn’t be complete without the fashion stakes; and each week there are over €2,000 in prizes to be won in the “Dare To Be Different Style Competition” in association with The Beacon Hotel, part of Fitzpatrick Lifestyle Hotels. Celebrity judges will include Lisa Fitzpatrick, Stylist on TV3 and Xpose, amongst others. Finalists from each week will then be invited back as VIP Guests for the festival finale on August 13th to compete for the “Dare to be Different” top prize valued at €3000.
