Keeps Me Out – Hawk

HAWK combine an abrasive edge with celestial vocals, to create a driving, expansive sound, with activism at its core. HAWK have been compared to Warpaint and The Cranberries with hints of Slow Dive and Radiohead.

Their music covers subjects like inequality, exclusion, gender-preconceptions and generalisations faced by different social groups every day. Their acute social awareness is a trait that the band hold dear conveying their message with beauty and grace, with triggering, dreamlike soundscapes to mirror the inequalities they witness in everyday life.

HAWK formed in London in 2014, where they also formed their label, Veta Records. Amongst the band’s supporters are Noisey, Stereogum, Clash, The Line of Best Fit and Amazing Radio, who have all commented on HAWK’s dynamic sound and compelling subject matters. New single ‘Keeps Me Out’ is out now!🔺 http://spoti.fi/2phn14T

Boa Constrictor – The Mountain Man Band

Two primitive men from the wilds of the West coast bang drums and destroy guitar strings.

In a genre they refer to as “Mountain Goat Rock” two primitive men from the wilds of the West coast bang drums and destroy guitar strings and try to play a little music in between.

The Mountain Man Band were formed in 2014 by Pádraic “Pants” Carter on drums and Declan Keane a finger-picking guitarist/vocalist when they realised they couldn’t find anyone else willing to play with them.
